Blue Ant Studios Sets New & Returning Content for MIPCOM

Blue Ant Studios is gearing up for MIPCOM with a slate of unscripted programming across crime, history, nature, wildlife and environment, factual entertainment and more.

Highlights include the new true-crime series The Killer You Know, which marks the company’s first collaboration with Jupiter Entertainment, and the factual entertainment title Northwoods Survival, which follows a diverse group of people as they embark on the challenge of their lives.

More true-crime titles include The Eunuch Maker, which follows journalist Marcel Theroux into the dark world of a voluntary castration cult, and The Jury: Death on the Staircase, the first adaptation of the hit format The Jury.

In history, there’s Emperor: The Rise and Fall of a Dynasty, Hitler’s British Island, Bettany Hughes’ Lost Worlds: The Nabataeans, Atlantis: The Lost City Unearthed and Battle of the Atlantic. The lifestyle slate includes Tom Kerridge: Secrets of the Pub Kitchen and Kitchen Glow Up.

In nature, wildlife and environment titles, there’s Survival of the Beast, Pride Rules, Shared Planet, Wings Over Water, Boss Shark, Planet Weird, Wild Sky, Cub Camp, The Secret Life of the Hermit Crab, Hope for Wildlife: The Next Generation and 399: Queen of the Tetons.

Documentaries on the slate are The “A” Word: America’s War on Women, Warship: Life in the Royal Navy and Renee Gracie: Fireproof, while the paranormal and unexplained title My Haunted Hometown is also featured.

Returning popular series include Mysteries from Above season four, Race Against the Tide season four, Big Little Crimes season two, Gone Fishing season seven, Great Australian Walks season two, Money for Nothing season 17, Wildlife ER season three and Neu Earth season two.
