Kalel Productions Hires Lime Pictures Alum

Lime Pictures alum Jamie Ingley has been tapped as Kalel Productions’ new head of development and has begun setting up a new development team.

As senior development producer at Lime, Ingley helped develop Dance Monsters for Netflix and Stand Up and Deliver for Channel 4. At Kalel, he will help drive development and work across its entire slate of programs.

Before joining Lime Pictures, Ingley worked for Endemol, where he co-created Million Pound Drop and Pointless, and for BBC and STV, where he got Safeword commissioned. His production credits include Soccer Aid, Big Brother, The Edge, The Dressing Room, Sex Tape and Love at First Lie.

Another new member of the development team is Elliot Moore, who is moving over from Youngest Media as development producer. He started out working in Objective Productions’ development team before moving to Gameface, where he helped to launch the ITV prime-time quiz Britain’s Brightest Family. Recently, he developed Channel 4’s Moneybags, ITV’s Small Fortune and BBC3’s House Share.

The team has also tapped Isaac Scoulding, who will serve as development researcher. He started his TV career as one of Banijay’s 2019 Brightbulb interns, assisting with development for companies such as Initial and Remarkable. He then moved on to DSP as a researcher and worked across both factual entertainment and specialist factual remits.

“I’m really looking forward to working with such a talented and creative team and can’t wait to begin developing new and innovative projects with them, which will build on Kalel’s already strong portfolio,” Ingley said.

Nick Parnes, CEO at Kalel Productions, to whom Ingley will report, added, “We’re delighted that Jamie and the team are joining Kalel. Their experience and vision will be a huge asset in driving the company’s continued growth.”
