Multiplatform production house Irwin Entertainment has expanded its executive team by appointing Eli Frankel as president of production and development.

Frankel will oversee Irwin’s slate of comedy, reality and live-entertainment programming. He brings more than 20 years of experience in unscripted television to the role, having worked on franchises such as Survivor, The Amazing Race, Big Brother, Project Runway and Top Chef.

Previously, Frankel owned and operated Rogue Atlas Productions, where he oversaw series and specials such as Revenge Body for Khloe Kardashian (E!), Skin Decision (Netflix), Helter Skelter (Netflix) and CeeLo’s The Good Life (TBS). He has also held roles at Magical Elves, Pilgrim Films & Television and CBS, where he was director of alternative series.

Frankel will work alongside Dave Kuba, senior VP of development, who will continue to generate unscripted formats and docuseries for broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. Kuba helped develop Dancing with Myself for NBC and was previously senior VP of development at Shed Media.

“Both venerable trailblazers in television, Eli and Dave have enviable creative track records and a profound knowledge of the business,” said John Irwin, founder and president of Irwin Entertainment. “Eli is a huge win for the company, and I’m excited to see how, together, they will continue to cultivate the company’s portfolio.”
