Dorsey Expands True-Crime Roster

Lifestyle programming specialist Dorsey Pictures, a Red Arrow Studios company, is expanding its development and production slate to include a number of true-crime series, documentary specials and pilots.

Dorsey Pictures has produced the documentary special Slenderman Stabbing: The Untold Story, which debuts on Reelz on January 26 at 8 p.m. The two-hour doc promises never-before-seen evidence. The company also has an upcoming true-crime series and special for Oxygen, as well as numerous other projects in development.

“Our unique view into the world of crime has been in the heartland, in small town and rural America where under-funded and overwhelmed law enforcement can make justice elusive…and where people sometimes take investigations and the law into their own hands,” said Chris Dorsey, founding partner of Dorsey Pictures. “That’s where characters and storytelling get really interesting and relatable.”
