3Boxmedia Unveils New Factual Offerings for MIPCOM

3Boxmedia International Sales has revealed three new offerings from its slate of documentaries for MIPCOM, including Meet the Millennials.

The three-parter, produced by the Dutch company Stichting Nieuwe Helden, shows the future challenges, issues and concerns millennials are confronted with. How to find a place in an ultra-demanding and competitive society, how to confront global issues, love and intimacy in a time dominated by new technologies are the core subjects for this generation, addressed with a touch of humor. In order to discover these concerns, the series travels through Asia, where the largest population of millennials live, and visits Hong Kong, Seoul, Singapore, Shenzhen, Taipei and Tokyo.

3Boxmedia’s wildlife catalog is also bringing The Birds of Winter (1×52 min.), a documentary about one of the most amazing and spectacular natural events on Earth, to MIPCOM. Every year, hundreds of thousands of birds and their offspring migrate from the north of Europe to the Spanish and Portuguese wilderness—places where nature does not surrender to the cold and the ice.

Another new title presented by the Spanish-German distribution company is the documentary Lessons of the Sky (1×52 min.) from the French production company Solidream. It follows as three friends embark on a paragliding adventure, crossing the Pyrenees from the Mediterranean to the Atlantic. Their challenge to nature and adversity rewards them with boundless freedom above the mountains and under the skies of the Pyrenees.

3Boxmedia is also set to present a selection of titles featuring current themes by the public Swiss TV channel RTS exclusively for Asia and Latin America.
