ZooMoo, a Blue Ant Media company, has greenlit a second season of the animated preschool series Leo the Wildlife Ranger.

Each episode of Leo the Wildlife Ranger features junior rangers Leo and his little sister Katie embarking on fun adventures with exotic animals all over the world. They’re aided on their journeys by the puppy Hero and Ranger Rocky. ZooMoo, together with Omens Studios, which came on board the project for season two, are set to begin production this fall in Singapore. The new season is slated to air on ZooMoo and be available for licensing in 2020.

In addition to ZooMoo, the first season of Leo the Wildlife Ranger has aired on networks such as Discovery (Middle East), Channel 1 (Russia), Globosat (Brazil) and CJ E&M (South Korea). It also ran on VOD platforms, including Amazon Prime (U.S.), Kidoodle (Canada) and Tencent (China).

Chi Sim Tang, CEO and executive producer at Omens Studios, said: “The first season of Leo the Wildlife Ranger has delighted children and parents around the world, and with season two, we are excited to be bringing more characters and fun to the show, and to continue building awareness of wildlife and nature issues in young children. We are excited to be working with Blue Ant Media and our partners to bring this brand-new season from paper to screen.”
