ZDF Studios’ Katharina Pietzsch on Board TV Kids Summer Festival

Katharina Pietzsch, director in ZDF Studios’ junior department, is lined up for the TV Kids Summer Festival, which will take place June 7 to 10.

At ZDF Studios, Pietzsch is responsible for all worldwide key account, English-speaking and Scandinavian clients, with a focus on sales for and the sourcing of content to produce and/or co-produce for and with these key partners. As part of ZDF Studios’ creative board, Pietzsch invests in all kinds of children’s and youth programming, ranging from preschool to tween and teen content across both animation and live action.

Pietzsch joins the TV Kids Summer Festival roster alongside previously announced speakers Nickelodeon’s Jules Borkent, BBC’s Patricia Hidalgo, Super RTL’s Thorsten Braun, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder’s Bruce W. Smith, Nelvana’s Pam Westman, The Jim Henson Company’s Halle Stanford and Sesame Workshop’s Ed Wells and Kay Wilson Stallings.

The TV Kids Summer Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the major trends in the children’s programming business. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVKidsSummerFestival.com. Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Kids Summer Festival is free. The inaugural festival attracted more than 1,700 participants.
