YTV Slates Second Season Premiere of Make It Pop

TORONTO: The sophomore season of the musical comedy series Make It Pop is due to debut on YTV in Canada early next year, with a sneak peek becoming available on the YTVGo app later this month.

Starring Megan Lee, Erika Tham, Louriza Tronco and Dale Whibley, Make It Pop follows the members of a K-pop-inspired band. The 20-episode second season of the live-action program will begin airing on Corus Entertainment's YTV on Monday, January 4, at 7:30 p.m, day-and-date with Nickelodeon in the U.S. The entire first episode will launch on the YTVGo app on Friday, December 25.

Make It Pop features original songs and performances in every episode. The show is co-created by Thomas W. Lynch and Nick Cannon and produced by DHX Media. Lynch and Cannon also serve as exec producers alongside DHX Media's Steven DeNure and Anne Loi.
