The second season of WondLa is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on April 25.
Based on Tony DiTerlizzi’s New York Times best-selling book series The Search for WondLa, the coming-of-age story follows 16-year-old Eva 9 as she leaves her underground sanctuary and uncovers startling truths about her past and the world she finds herself in. Season two picks up where the first left off, continuing Eva’s search for home.
The second season features the return of voices such as Jeanine Mason (Roswell, New Mexico), Brad Garrett (Everybody Loves Raymond), Gary Anthony Williams (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows), Teri Hatcher (Desperate Housewives) and many more. New cast members include John Harlan Kim (Cruel Intentions) and Ana Villafañe (Castro’s Daughter) as Eva 8.
The series comes from Skydance Animation. Season two’s seven half-hour episodes are executive produced by DiTerlizzi and Bobs Gannaway alongside Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Jeremy Bell, Julie Kane-Ritsch and Skydance Animation’s John Lasseter, David Ellison and Dana Goldberg. The series is also produced by Tony Cosanella.
