WildBrain Spark & Copenhagen Bombay Pact for Kiwi & Strit

WildBrain Spark has partnered with Copenhagen Bombay to co-produce the third season of the non-dialogue 3D-animated comedy series Kiwi & Strit.

Per the deal, in addition to co-producing 26 new episodes, WildBrain Spark will take the exclusive distribution rights to the show’s third season on YouTube, YouTube Kids and additional AVOD platforms worldwide (excluding China), as well as select rights to seasons one and two for these platforms. All other rights across the three seasons are handled by Copenhagen Bombay’s in-house sales department, Copenhagen Bombay Sales.

WildBrain Spark and Copenhagen Bombay will begin production on season three of Kiwi & Strit later this year. This partnership builds upon WildBrain Spark’s launch of the official Kiwi & Strit YouTube channel in September 2020.

Copenhagen Bombay recently completed production on season two of Kiwi & Strit, which is set to premiere this year. It makes the series in co-production with NDR and Studio Hamburg Enterprises. Kiwi & Strit, co-created by Jannik Tai Mosholt and Esben Toft Jacobsen, follows the titular pair of funny and furry little creatures who live in a clearing in the forest. Their approach to almost everything is different, but they learn how to work together to solve each other’s and their forest friends’ problems.
