Weird Al Yankovic to Voice Lead in Milo Murphy’s Law

BURBANK: Grammy Award-winning recording artist and satirist Al Yankovic (Weird Al) is on board to voice the title character in Disney XD’s animated comedy series Milo Murphy’s Law.

The series comes from creators and executive producers Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh of the hit animated series Phineas and Ferb. Milo Murphy’s Law is slated for a fall premiere. In addition to voicing the lead, Yankovic will perform the opening theme song. He will also sing original songs throughout the series.

Other stars lending their voice talents include Sabrina Carpenter (Girl Meets World), MeKai Curtis (Kirby Buckets), Christian Slater, Vanessa Williams, Sarah Chalke, Jemaine Clement and Mackenzie Phillips, among others. Povenmire and Marsh will also voice characters.

Produced by Disney Television Animation, the show follows Milo, the fictional great-great-great-great grandson of the Murphy’s Law namesake. Milo is the personification of Murphy’s Law, where anything that can go wrong will go wrong. He always tries to make the best of the cards he’s been dealt and has the ability to turn any catastrophe into a fun adventure.

Producer and director Robert F. Hughes, story editor Scott Peterson, and staff writers Joshua Pruett, Dani Vetere and Martin Olson—all of Phineas and Ferb—are on board.
