Warner Bros.’ Amy Friedman Added to TV Kids Summer Festival

Amy Friedman, the head of kids and family programming at Warner Bros., has joined the lineup for the TV Kids Summer Festival, which you can register for here.

Friedman is responsible for the creative and strategic guidance on kids and family programming for Cartoon Network and Cartoonito, as well as the development and production of kids and family content for HBO Max. As part of her role, Friedman oversees strategy for new and current series, acquisitions and co-productions globally for kids and family across HBO Max and Cartoon Network, while working in close collaboration with the animation studios: Warner Bros. Animation, Cartoon Network Studios and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe.

Friedman joins the TV Kids Summer Festival roster alongside previously announced speakers Nickelodeon’s Jules Borkent, BBC’s Patricia Hidalgo, Super RTL’s Thorsten Braun, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder’s Bruce W. Smith, Nelvana’s Pam Westman, ZDF Studios’ Katharina Pietzsch, The Jim Henson Company’s Halle Stanford and Sesame Workshop’s Ed Wells and Kay Wilson Stallings.

Taking place June 7 to 10, the TV Kids Summer Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the major trends in the children’s programming business. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVKidsSummerFestival.com. Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Kids Summer Festival is free. The inaugural festival attracted more than 1,700 participants.
