Universal Kids Resort is set to feature lands themed around characters from IP such as Shrek, Puss in Boots, Trolls, Gabby’s Dollhouse, SpongeBob SquarePants, Minions and Jurassic World.
Themed around DreamWorks Animation’s Shrek, there will be a swamp-themed playground where kids can stomp, ride, laugh and play. Elsewhere, Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick, Sandy Cheeks and Squidward will show guests around their neighborhood under the sea.
Illumination’s Minions overrun a peaceful vacation retreat. Kids will be able to learn about and come face to face with the dinosaurs of Jurassic World in interactive ways. There will be a music festival with DreamWorks’ Trolls. DreamWorks’ Puss in Boots, Kitty Softpaws and Perrito will feature in a kitty adoption drive that is in full swing with decorations, sideshow games, rides and festive food.
The central hub of Universal Kids Resort will feature shady lawns and interactive play areas. Plus, guests can meet characters like Gabby from DreamWorks’ Gabby’s Dollhouse in an immersive retail experience.

They’ll be able to do all this while being fully immersed in some of their favorite stories—ones full of curiosity, laughter and joy.”
