TV Kids Summer Festival to Spotlight LatAm Kids’ Landscape

Nickelodeon Latin America’s Migdalis Silva and Grupo Globo’s Luiz Filipe Figueira are set to take part in a conversation about the competitive kids’ media landscape in Latin America as part of the TV Kids Summer Festival, which you can register for here.

Silva is VP and brand lead for Nickelodeon Latin America based in Miami. Figueira is the head of programming and content strategy for Grupo Globo’s kids’ linear channels. Together, the executives will discuss the children’s programming landscape in LatAm.

Silva and Figueira join the TV Kids Summer Festival roster alongside previously announced speakers Nickelodeon’s Jules Borkent, BBC’s Patricia Hidalgo, Super RTL’s Thorsten Braun, Warner Bros.’ Amy Friedman, Paramount’s Layla Lewis, POP Channels’ Francesca Newington, Sensical’s Bethany Boles, De Agostini Editore’s Brenda Maffuchi, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder’s Bruce W. The TV Kids Summer Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the major trends in the children’s programming business. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVKidsSummerFestival.com. Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Kids Summer Festival is free. The inaugural festival attracted more than 1,700 participants.
