TV Kids Summer Festival to Feature Nelvana’s Pam Westman

Pam Westman, the president of Nelvana, is the latest addition to the lineup for the TV Kids Summer Festival, set for June 7 to 10.

Westman oversees the animation studio at Nelvana as well as Nelvana Enterprises, an integrated brand management company focused on merchandising and licensing.

Westman joins the TV Kids Summer Festival roster alongside previously announced speakers Nickelodeon’s Jules Borkent, BBC’s Patricia Hidalgo, Super RTL’s Thorsten Braun, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder’s Bruce W. Smith, The Jim Henson Company’s Halle Stanford and Sesame Workshop’s Ed Wells and Kay Wilson Stallings.

The TV Kids Summer Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the major trends in the children’s programming business. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVKidsSummerFestival.com. Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Kids Summer Festival is free. The inaugural festival attracted more than 1,700 participants.
