TV Kids Festival Preview: Day 2

The second day of the TV Kids Festival includes a special look at the new series 50/50 Heroes, panels on kids’ distribution trends and co-productions and creative keynotes from Traci Paige Johnson, Angela Santomero and Dan Povenmire. At 9 a.m. EST (convert to your local time), Cyber Group Studios’ Pierre Sissmann, France Télévisions’ Christine Reinaudo and art director and character designer Yann de Preval will discuss 50/50 Heroes ahead of the premiere of a trailer for the brand-new series.

At 10:30 a.m. EST, the panel The Big Picture will feature insights on windowing from CAKE’s Ed Galton, 9 Story’s Alix Wiseman and eOne Family Brands’ Monica Candiani.

The first of the day’s creative keynotes, at 12:00 p.m. EST, sees Traci Paige Johnson and Angela Santomero, the co-creators of the iconic Blue’s Clues, discussing reinventing the property for a new era in Blue’s Clues & You!

The panel Partner Potential at 1:30 p.m. EST will look at how co-production models are evolving, with input from Serious Lunch’s Genevieve Dexter, Guru Studio’s Frank Falcone, Toon2Tango’s Ulli Stoef and Boat Rocker’s Jon Rutherford.

Wrapping the day at 3 p.m. EST, we’ll hear from hitmaker Dan Povenmire, creator of Phineas and Ferb, on his latest creation, Hamster & Gretel.
