Thunderbird Distribution Picks Up Mittens & Pants

Thunderbird Distribution has acquired the global media (excluding Canada and the U.K.) and consumer products rights to the new preschool series Mittens & Pants.

Produced by Windy Isle Entertainment, the CBC Kids original production follows Mittens the kitten and Pants the puppy as they go on adventures in Kibble Corners. The series stars real baby animals that are voiced by children.

The series was produced with the participation of the Canada Media Fund, with the assistance of Ontario Creates and the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit, as well as the Shaw Rocket Fund. Windy Isle Entertainment CEO Phil McCordic created the series.

Mittens & Pants is set to debut on CBC and CBC Gem in Canada this fall. In the U.K., Sky has prebought the series for its Sky Kids on-demand platforms.
