The Last Kids on Earth Special Set for Netflix

Netflix is gearing up to debut a special for The Last Kids on Earth ahead of the animated series’ release.

Based on the New York Times best-selling book series by Max Brallier, Netflix’s adaptation follows 13-year-old Jack Sullivan and his group of pals who live in a treehouse, play video games, gorge on candy and battle zombies in the aftermath of a monster apocalypse. The special will launch on the platform on September 17, the same day that the latest book in the series drops.

Brallier serves as showrunner on the Netflix title, which features an all-star voice cast that includes Mark Hamill, Rosario Dawson and Catherine O’Hara. Nick Wolfhard (World Trigger, Beyblade Burst) voices Jack Sullivan.
