The Beachbuds Premiering on Disney+ Hotstar

J-Toon Productions and Syon Media have signed a deal with Disney+ Hotstar for the first season of the animated television series The Beachbuds.

Aimed at kids aged 6 to 11, The Beachbuds is set in Zoobak Resort, a tropical island paradise with funny feathered friends ready to welcome its guests. The series, which teaches children about harmony, hospitality and humor, is slated to premiere later this year.

Steven Banks (Lego: City Adventure, SpongeBob SquarePants) teamed up with such writers as John R Morey (Family Guy) and Ken Goin (Family Guy, Tripping the Rift) on The Beachbuds, which is directed by George Samilski (Aliens in the Attic, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, Dragonball Evolution). It features music by Adam Barrett Berry (South Park, Kim Possible, The Sarah Silverman Program).
