Mattel has revealed that the CGI film Thomas & Friends: The Great Race is slated to premiere this week in cinemas across China, where it will feature the property's first Chinese character.

CANNES: Featuring a character-based narrative, WellieWishers, one of Mattel’s MIPTV highlights, is a 2D animated series centered on five best friends who play, sing and dream in a whimsical garden.
