Nickelodeon has lined up SpongeBob SquarePants: The Legend of Boo-Kini Bottom, a brand-new stop-motion animated special slated to premiere in October.

Nickelodeon has greenlit a 12th season of the animated hit SpongeBob SquarePants, and has also renewed the preschool series PAW Patrol, Shimmer and Shine, Rusty Rivets and Nella the Princess Knight.

TEL AVIV: Following its launch in Israel, the SpongeBob SquarePants app Sponge Master has been adapted into Hungarian and English versions for upcoming launches via Nickelodeon channels in Hungary and the U.K.

LOS ANGELES: K.C. Undercover and SpongeBob SquarePants were among the winners at Nickelodeon's 2016 Kids' Choice Awards, which presented prizes in 22 categories.

MADRID: Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) is partnering with leisure-park operator Parques Reunidos to bring Nickelodeon-branded family-entertainment centers to Europe, with the first slated to open in Murcia, Spain, next year.
