CBBC has commissioned a fifth season of the sitcom So Awkward, as well as a special miniseries featuring characters from the show.

The hit children's sitcom So Awkward, created by Julie Bower and produced by Channel X North, is set to premiere its 13x30-minute third installment on CBBC in the U.K. next month.

LONDON/MANCHESTER: CBBC has commissioned Channel X to produce a third season of the hit kids' comedy series So Awkward via the independent production company's Channel X North division.
