Disney Branded Television has renewed the Disney Jr. and Marvel preschool series Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends for a fifth season.

Among a series of announcements from Disney Branded Television and Disney Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) is news of a greenlight for Disney Junior’s Ariel, an animated musical show for preschoolers inspired by The Little Mermaid.

The second season of the preschool series Marvel's Spidey and His Amazing Friends is slated to bow on Disney Channel and Disney Junior on August 19.
