Cartoon Network Studios (CNS) has set up Cartoon Cartoons, the next evolution of its animated shorts program.

Pete Browngardt, who currently serves as executive producer on the HBO Max series Looney Tunes Cartoons, has signed an exclusive, multiyear cross-studio overall deal with Warner Bros. Animation (WBA) and Cartoon Network Studios (CNS).

WarnerMedia veteran Sam Register, who currently serves as the president of Warner Bros. Animation, has expanded his remit to also serve as president of Cartoon Network Studios.
