Cartoon Forum is returning to Toulouse for its 34th edition from September 18 to 21, giving producers the opportunity to pitch their animation projects to broadcasters, investors and other potential partners from around the world looking for European co-production opportunities.

The 2023 edition of Cartoon Forum, set to take place from September 21 to 18 in Toulouse, will feature the initiative Animated UK Meets Europe, spearheaded by Animation UK.

Cartoon Forum 2022, which saw 1,075 participants from 40 countries visit Toulouse from September 19 to 22, has come to a close.

On the final day of this year’s Cartoon Forum, the Cartoon Tributes awards were given to GoldBee, KiKA and Peekaboo Animation.

This year’s edition of Cartoon Forum, featuring 80 new animated series from 19 European countries, begins today, September 19, and will run through September 22.

With the support of ICEX and DIBOOS, a large group of production companies under the Animation from Spain brand will present their projects during the Cartoon Forum pitching sessions, as well as during the Croissant Shows and Coffee Shows.

Cartoon Forum is slated to return for its 33rd edition from September 19 to 22 in Toulouse, bringing together producers, investors, broadcasters and other potential partners for co-production opportunities on European animated series.

The nominees for this year’s Cartoon Tributes awards, celebrating outstanding players of European animation, have been unveiled, with finalists representing eight countries.

Cartoon Forum, which brings a country or a region into the spotlight for its creativity, style or approach in the world of animation, is celebrating Spain this year.

Cartoon Forum is currently accepting submissions of animated TV series or TV specials for its 2022 event.
