Cartoon Forum is currently accepting submissions of animated TV series or TV specials for its 2022 event.

Any European producer that has a registered office located in a country associated with the Creative Europe—MEDIA Programme can present a new animation project at Cartoon Forum. Only independent production companies are eligible to submit.

Countries associated with Creative Europe—MEDIA include the 27 EU countries, as well as Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway and the Republic of Serbia. Due to Brexit, the U.K. is not part of the eligible countries.

Only one TV project can be submitted per company. Eligible projects include animated projects of a minimum running time of 26 minutes for TV and new platforms, including series and specials. Projects in development should have completed the preproduction phase and be ready to go into production, with not all the financing assembled. Each project must be accompanied by a written statement of interest from a broadcaster or a new platform attesting to their support of the project.

Projects must be submitted by May 9.

Cartoon Forum 2022 will be held from September 19 to 22 in Toulouse, France.
