CAKE has picked up the international distribution rights for the tween animated series Sherwood.

A series produced by the Irish studio Giant Animation is set to spearhead YouTube’s changing approach to its YouTube Originals content when it is made available for free to all viewers this month.

Baby Octopus is expanding its portfolio of female-led fantasy-animation shows, optioning the rights to the series of Nadya Skylung books and signing a development deal for television and merchandising with author Jeff Seymour.
