Me and My Compost, a new series to raise awareness about ecology from Superprod Group and Vivement Lundi !, is being developed for France Télévisions.

Based on The (Almost) Zero Waste Kids by Jérémie Pichon and Bénédicte Moret, the series follows the adventures of Compostman, a giant compost pile that helps children explore new initiatives and discover how they can take action to help the planet.

The 52×11-minute series will be broadcast by France Télévisions and will be accompanied by a 52×3-minute web series, which will mix live-action and 2D animation, featuring tutorials and real children’s testimonials about their efforts to protect the planet.

Me and My Compost was originally presented at Cartoon Forum by Superprod Group and Vivement Lundi ! last year.

“We are delighted to bring this show to life with a partner like France Télévisions,” said Camille Serceau, producer at Superprod, and Aurélie Angebault, producer at Vivement Lundi ! “It’s a meaningful project and one that is close to our hearts. Compostman lets us offer children an enjoyable comedy show to talk about ecology in a benevolent and playful spirit. This character, both funny and touching, will reconnect young and old alike with nature!”
