Superights Secures New Broadcasters for Pat the Dog

PARIS: Superights has licensed the animated comedy series Pat the Dog to Turner for Boomerang across EMEA and the Asia Pacific, where it will also air on Turner’s POGO and Cartoon Network channels.

Pat the Dog is about an ordinary canine who goes on missions to save the day for his owner. The 78×7-minute show is aimed at viewers between the ages of 5 and 8. It is also slated for broadcast on RTBF, VRT, Radio-Canada and Discovery Latin America, and there are ongoing discussions in Europe and the U.S.

Pat the Dog was originally commissioned by Canal+ and RAI. The series, which is due to debut in the spring, is an adaptation of the mobile game played by 27 million people worldwide. It is produced by France’s Superprod and Italy’s Animoka.
