Superights has snapped up the global distribution rights for Clay Time, a new animated edutainment series aimed at children between the ages of 3 and 5.

Clay Time invites young viewers to create new characters with modeling clay, guided by the voice of the narrator and featuring various animal heroes. The show is produced for France Télévisions by Reaz. It will be accompanied by 30 tutorials for online use.

Nathalie Pinguet, the deputy general manager of Superights, remarked: “We had a real crush on Clay Time and its sweet and poetic universe. Its concept is universal. We are very proud to expand our catalog with the edutainment genre. The clay animation technique is a perfect addition to our diversified catalog.”

Martin Rea, founder of Reaz, added: “Clay Time is an animated series targeted at 3- to 5-year-old kids with an innovative narration linking early learning stories with manual activities. We are happy and enthusiastic to collaborate with Superights’ team, with whom we share a story vision for the series.”
