Spin Master Expands Slate with Digital-First Series

Spin Master Entertainment is expanding its slate with the launch of two new original digital-first series, Sparkles Magical Market and Unicorn Academy Shorts.

“These launches represent the next step in our digital evolution,” said Caroline Tyre, Spin Master’s VP of global content distribution. “With high-quality animation, multiplatform integration and rich storytelling, both Unicorn Academy and Sparkles Magical Market demonstrate the power of original IP to inspire, entertain and engage kids across formats and platforms.”

Unicorn Academy Shorts premiered earlier this month, with new episodes rolling out every Friday through March 2026. The series is an extension of the Unicorn Academy franchise, and the shorts are organized around the thematic arcs of friendship, magic and unicorns. The first episode debuted in English and Spanish, and additional language versions include Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, German and French.

Sparkles Magical Market launched last week on YouTube, with new releases planned through the first half of 2026. The series is based on the popular Roblox game of the same name.

In parallel, Spin Master is evolving the Sparkles Magical Market Roblox game, transitioning from a tycoon-style play to an immersive role-play experience. The new version allows players to interact with series characters and “work” in locations such as Muffi’s Bakery, Cami’s Boutique and Roxi’s Sweet Lab. Players earn charms for completing tasks and can use them to personalize their in-game apartments.

To support the new version of the game, Roblox influencer PolarCub has come on board as a gaming ambassador and will create gameplay content and behind-the-scenes videos for the Sparkles YouTube channel throughout the remainder of 2025.
