Sophie “Kido” Prigent Joins HARI

HARI has tapped Jetpack Distribution alum Sophie “Kido” Prigent as head of sales.

At Jetpack, Prigent was global head of sales. Prior to this, she was territory manager at DHX Media (now WildBrain) and began her career in the kids’ industry with Cookie Jar, where she remained until it was acquired by DHX.

“We’re delighted that Kido has joined us to lead the distribution strategy of our original productions,” said Josselin Charier, co-founder of HARI with Antoine Rodelet. “HARI is starting a new chapter, and we’re lucky to benefit from her expertise and tremendous experience in the industry at such a key moment. We’re accelerating our production pace, and we have a new slate of ambitious projects, TV series but also theatrical movies. Kido’s international experience will be decisive to help us achieve our goals.”

Prigent added, “As a content enthusiast, it’s close to my heart to work hand in hand with creatives, and I’m very happy to join a team completely dedicated to original productions. Known as masters of slapstick with Grizzy and the Lemmings (fourth season is in production), the studio is now exploring the action-adventure-comedy genre with the upcoming Mystery Lane. I’m looking forward to representing this ‘new classic’ on the market this year! HARI also has a thrilling development slate, including The Weasy Family, which just started production and balances tenderness and cartoon humor. HARI’s talent for storytelling and expertise in delivering impressive 3D animation serves their goal to develop IPs for the long haul and go beyond the small screen. I’m thrilled to join such a visionary team.”
