Sky Kids has launched a specially curated lineup of shows called the Back to School collection, which is designed to help kids navigate the new school year.

The Back to School collection runs until September 8 on Sky Q, Sky+ and the Sky Kids app. It brings together episodes of popular kids’ shows themed around friendship, togetherness, teamwork and education.

There is a range of content for kids ages 5 to 12, and for older kids, there are selections from series such as The Amazing World of Gumball, The Thundermans and The Athena to help them learn about navigating friendships and first-day nerves. The kids’ news show FYI: For Your Info will be on hand for some entertaining education as well.

For younger kids, the curated library aims to create a comforting opportunity to watch with parents after those first long days at school, with shows that both children and adults can enjoy such as Moominvalley, The Gruffalo and We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.

Lucy Murphy, head of kids content at Sky, commented, “TV can be a powerful source of comfort, education and entertainment. This is why we’ve curated the Back to School collection on Sky Kids, letting children join their favorite characters in hand-picked episodes designed to help them feel a little more comfortable, better prepared and excited about the term ahead.”
