Silex & the City Gets Feature Film

Je Suis Bien Content has revealed it is producing a feature film for Silex & the City, to be written and co-directed by creator Jul.

The franchise already has nine comic books with over a million copies sold and a prime-time television series consisting of 180 episodes. The film’s voice cast will feature several notable personalities, including former French President François Hollande.

Alongside Jul, Jean-Paul Guigue will write and direct the film, which will blend 2D animation with live-action sequences.

Additional notable personalities who are involved are Bruno Solo, Julie Gayet, Stéphane Bern, Léa Drucker, Frédéric Beigbeder and Amélie Nothomb.
