Semillitas to Air Earth Day Programming

MIAMI: Spanish-language children’s channel Semillitas is celebrating this week’s Earth Day with a range of special programming, along with various activities on its website and YouTube and Facebook pages.

The channel will air special episodes of both acquired and in-house productions, which will deal with environmental issues such as conservation and recycling. The shows Bali, Guess with Jess, Olivia and Ava Riko Teo will all debut Earth Day-themed episodes.

Meanwhile, Semillitas’s YouTube page will feature videos on recyclable crafts that parents can do with their children. Among the activities are how to make a watering can to care for plants, a picture frame, a wind rattle and a small birdhouse.

Semillitas is a SOMOSTV channel that offers educational content for infants and preschoolers.
