BURBANK: Freeform has set April 23 and 24 for its Funday weekend programming event featuring animated titles such as Cars 2.

As part of the animated Funday programming block, on Saturday, April 23, at 4:15 p.m. and on Sunday, April 24, at 2:15 p.m., Freeform will air Cars 2. Despicable Me, meanwhile, will air at 7 p.m. on April 23 and will repeat the next day at 5 p.m. Also joining Freeform’s Funday programming event are The Incredibles (Saturday at 9 p.m., Sunday at 7 p.m.) and WALL-E (Saturday at 11:45 p.m., Sunday at 9:45 p.m.).

The Disney-Pixar movie Cars 2 follows star racecar Lightning McQueen and tow truck Mater as they head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix to determine the world’s fastest car. The Incredibles is another Disney-Pixar movie, about a family of superheroes.

Despicable Me features a voice case that includes Steve Carrell, Julie Andrews, Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Danny McBride, Will Arnett, Kristen Wiig, Mindy Kaling and more. Carrell voices a villain intent on stealing the moon with the help of his little Minions. WALL-E, meanwhile, is set in a galaxy not so far away and follows the titular robot as he discovers a new purpose in life when he meets a search robot named EVE.
