Semillitas Acquires Book Hungry Bears from 9 Story

Semillitas, a Spanish-language children’s animation channel, has acquired the broadcasting rights for 9 Story Distribution International’s series Book Hungry Bears.

The channel, owned by SOMOSTV, will premiere Book Hungry Bears in early October for its audiences in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Central America, Panama and the Caribbean, where it will be known as Historias con Osos.

The series follows four young bears as they search for books that flutter like birds in their magical world. Each episode ends with the bears finding a story to share. It was created by children’s writer and illustrator Martin Baynton.

Semillitas broadcasts many other animations from well-known brands, such as Pirata & Capitano, Louie, Dr. Panda, Bob the Builder, Little People, P. King Duckling and Doozers.
