In addition to the upcoming Clifford the Big Red Dog reboot, Scholastic Entertainment is working on three new book-based animated series.

Scholastic Entertainment is currently developing Eva the Owlet, inspired by Rebecca Elliott’s Owl Diaries. The tentatively titled CGI show for preschoolers centers on a young bird who hosts her own DIY videos. It is being adapted in collaboration with Brown Bag Films.

Also in development are Blizz Richards: Legendary Creatures Protection League, based on the graphic novel by Kevin Sherry, and Mama Lion, which comes from author/illustrator Jon J. Muth.

“We are excited to expand our slate with three more animated series based on these standout books for kids,” said Caitlin Friedman, co-executive producer and VP and general manager at Scholastic Entertainment. “While we ready Clifford for his BIG return, we also look forward to introducing these new classics to kids and families around the world.”
