Entertainment One (eOne) has inked new broadcast and licensing deals for its preschool animated property Ricky Zoom, which is now set to bow on Russia’s Karusel channel, among others.

The series is slated to debut on Karusel on October 19. Ricky Zoom premieres today, September 16, on the Turkish network Minika Cocuk, and Spacetoon Kids is set to air the show in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

eOne is also readying the consumer products program for Ricky Zoom. Rosman will be charged with developing the brand’s publishing category in Russia, while Megalicense is the appointed agent for consumer products for Russia and CIS. In Turkey, FILMA will represent eOne for consumer products.

Global free-to-air, pay-TV and VOD platforms are raring to debut eOne’s latest preschool property across multiple territories, including Nickelodeon (the U.S.), Super RTL (Germany), Clan TV (Spain), Gulli (France), Rai (Italy), Youku (China) and Discovery Kids (LatAm), with further deals soon to be announced ahead of MIPCOM.

“We’re very proud to welcome Karusel, Minika Cocuk and Spacetoon to our outstanding line up of top-tier broadcasters,” said eOne’s Monica Candiani, executive VP of international content sales for family and brands. “We’re delighted to expand our presence in these markets and to introduce Ricky Zoom to as many homes as possible.”
