Portfolio Scores Global Sales for Cat in the Hat Content

Portfolio Entertainment has secured international deals for The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That! animated series and movies.

The show’s first two installments are headed to Ultra Kids for ex-Yugoslavia, and Sony Pictures Television Networks for the U.K. and Africa. Sony also went for the hour-long movies The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About Camping, The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About Space, The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About Halloween and The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About Christmas.

Over in MENA, E-Junior and Discovery Kids picked up the movies, with Discovery Kids also acquiring the third season of the series. MiniMini+ in Poland took season three, while Irish pubcaster TG4 snapped up the first installment and The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About Christmas. In addition, MBC’s Gobo.net licensed the sophomore season for the Middle East and Taiwan’s Horng En Culture took DVD and SVOD rights for all four movies.
