Portfolio Scores Global Sales for Cat in the Hat Movies

TORONTO: Portfolio Entertainment has secured its first international sales for the three new The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That! films with broadcasters in LatAm, the Middle East and Europe.

The hour-long movies, The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About Camping!, The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About Halloween! and The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About Space!, are headed to Discovery Kids in Latin America, KiKa in Germany, HOP in Israel, SVT Barnkanalen in Sweden and Minimini+ in Poland. All five channels currently air the series as well. The films, which see Martin Short reprising his role as the Cat, were commissioned by PBS in the U.S. and will also broadcast on Canada’s Treehouse.
