POGO Now Available in Telugu

WarnerMedia’s only-for-India kids’ entertainment network POGO has launched a new Telugu-language feed.

The channel, which is already available in Tamil and Hindi, will now further its reach in India. The additional feed means that the country’s animation brand bolsters its appeal in the southern states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

POGO has made localized content a key part of its strategy. Kids and families can enjoy shows such as Chhota Bheem, one of the channel’s most successful comedy series; Titoo— Har Jawaab Ka Sawal Hu and the Bollywood-inspired original Smashing Simmba. Bandhbudh aur Budbak will also now be available in Telugu.

Abhishek Dutta, South Asia network head for Cartoon Network and POGO, said, “The creation of POGO’s Telugu-language feed is a step in our commitment to bringing local animation content in the first languages of our young viewers.
