Playmates Toys On Board New Voltron Series

EL SEGUNDO: Playmates Toys has become the master toy licensee for DreamWorks Animation’s Voltron: Legendary Defender, a reimagining of the classic property that is headed to Netflix.

Voltron: Legendary Defender centers on five teenage pilots for mystical robot lions that join forces to create the most powerful defender in the universe. The show is due to debut as a Netflix original this year. Playmates Toys will release a wide variety of toys based on the new series in spring 2017.
