The mobile operators Play in Poland and Telenor in Bulgaria are set to launch the Nickelodeon Play VOD app following deals with Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN).

The mobile VOD app delivers full-length episodes from Nickelodeon, games and original short-form content. “Following its launch in Serbia and Montenegro last autumn, we’re delighted to roll out the Nickelodeon Play app in Poland and Bulgaria, giving mobile customers access to a full content experience, as part of our strategy to provide greater choice and flexibility on digital platforms,” said Gábor Harsányi, VP and general manager for VIMN CEEI.

In Poland, subscribers to the Play 360 package can access Nickelodeon Play for no extra charge. It is also available as a standalone subscription for 19.90 PLN/month (US$5.29/month) or 5 PLN/week (US$1.33/week) following a free one-week trial for prepaid customers, delivering more than 200 full-length episodes, 120 original short videos and more than 20 games.

Bulgaria’s Telenor will make the app available as part of its Total+ tariff plans from 31.99 BGN (US$18.47). It will be free of charge for new customers for the first 12 months of their two-year contract, and 4.99 BGN (US$2.88) per month thereafter. Existing customers will have the option to add Nickelodeon Play for 5.99 BGN (US$3.46) per month.

Nickelodeon Play is available in 45 countries.
