LONDON: Entertainment One (eOne) has signed a number of new licensing agreements for the popular preschool property Peppa Pig in the U.K.

Winning Moves, which already makes Peppa Pig Top Trumps, has signed on for Junior Monopoly and Guess Who board games based on the brand. These items began rolling out in the U.K. last month. Character Options, another existing licensee for the property, will launch a collection of arts and crafts merchandise, including dough, doodlers, easels and felts. The company is also slated to release Peppa Pig-themed construction toys in January 2016.

New licensing partners include Trends UK, which will introduce a line of preschool electronic learning toys in fall/winter 2016. There is also Bladez with remote-control inflatables; Vivid for Crayola a Colour Wonder activity; Flair with arts and crafts products, including draw-on plush and t-shirts; Meld for wooden toys; and Access All Areas with a collection of musical instruments that include a ukulele, junior guitar, tambourine, maracas and egg shakers.

Hannah Mungo, the head of U.K. licensing at eOne Licensing, said: "The toy category underpins the success of the Peppa Pig licensing program in the U.K., so it's important that we continue to refresh the ranges at retail by adding new partners, categories and formats to ensure that consumers have fun new ways to interact with their favorite characters at home."
