9 Story Distribution has acquired worldwide VOD rights to two new series by MonRae Productions and has struck deals for almost 1,700 half hours of existing content with a host of AVOD platforms.

MonRae’s new 100×5-minute Let’s Game features gaming talent, including EthanGamer, Yammy, DanTDM, The Kabs Family and BlackPanthaa playing family-friendly games. The producer’s 10×10-minute Challenge DanTDM sees YouTube gamer DanTDM take on some of his young fans in their favorite games.

Both shows target a 6- to 11-year-old age demographic. Worldwide VOD rights exclude the U.K. and Ireland.

More series placed include Barney & Friends, Garfield and Friends, Camp Lakebottom and more. The shows are to be delivered to platforms such as Pluto TV, Tubi, Roku, Peacock, Xumo, Kidoodle.TV, Prime Video and HappyKids.

Elianne Friend, VP of digital and distribution for 9 Story, said: “The number of households adopting AVODs continues to grow dramatically, and these platforms are a fantastic way to reach young audiences. We’ve seen tremendous success with both classic series like Angelina Ballerina and newer shows like Andy and the Band and Weird Waters. AVOD distribution is an important part of our growth strategy and we’re thrilled to expand our offering with these two exciting new series from MonRae Productions. Featuring well-known gamer influencers, Let’s Game and Challenge DanTDM provide a great complement to our catalog and we can’t wait to bring them to new audiences around the world.”

Elspeth Rae and Bronagh Monahan, executive producers and founders of MonRae Productions, commented: “9 Story has a stellar track record in this space and we are thrilled to have them distributing the VOD rights to Let’s Game and Challenge DanTDM internationally. Both series connect young audiences with the creators and short-form content they love to consume and we look forward to seeing the series, replicating the success they have enjoyed in the U.K. and Ireland elsewhere.”
