ROME: Ilaria Rossi has become the licensing director for Turner Italy, a Time Warner company.

In her new role, Rossi will oversee all licensing and merchandising activities for such hit properties as Adventure Time, The Powerpuff Girls, Ben 10 and The Amazing World of Gumball. She will work under Jaime Ondarza, the senior VP and general manager of Turner Italy, South EMEA and Africa, and Johanne Broadfield, the VP of licensing and merchandising for EMEA.

Rossi began her career as an export area manager for Versace Fragrances and then as a sales fashion manager for Ratti. She joined Warner Bros. Consumer Products in 2005 as a senior category manager, responsible for apparel, accessories, homeware and sporting goods for the Warner brands. Three years later she became a senior manager of licensing at adidas.

“I am very delighted that Ilaria Rossi is back part of Time Warner group,” said Ondarza. “I am sure that she will contribute, with her experience and expertise to the growth of our L&M business, and to the success of Turner and its partner clutching new license agreements and strengthening existing ones.”
