New Licensing Deals for Nickelodeon Preschool Hits

NEW YORK: A number of new licensing agreements have been signed for the popular Nickelodeon preschool properties PAW Patrol, Shimmer and Shine and Blaze and the Monster Machines.

This year will see an expanded Shimmer and Shine toy line from Fisher-Price, a new collection of Teenie Genies and the release of PAW Patrol as TY’s first-ever licensed Beanie Boos, among other L&M launches. Nickelodeon has also partnered with Fisher-Price for Think & Learn Smart Cycle apps; Fashion Angels for arts and crafts items, with new offerings from Colorforms Brand, Crayola, Tara Toys, Cra-z-art, Alex Brands and Montco; Mega Bloks for Shimmer and Shine products in the construction category; and Rubie’s Costume Company and Spirit Halloween for additional costume characters.

For games and puzzles, there will be an expanded selection from Cardinal and University Games. Other licensees include Kid Kraft and Step 2 for furniture; TY for plush; Edda Books USA, Quarto Publishing Group and Topix Media Lab in the publishing category; Moose Mountain for ride-ons (foot to floor); Moose Mountain and Pacific Cycle for sports and outdoor merchandise; American Greetings for social expression; Sakar for tech; and Fisher-Price for toys.
