The Wiggles Continue to Build Up Global Presence

SYDNEY: ABC Commercial has announced a range of new deals for the Australian children’s entertainers The Wiggles, extending the reach for the franchise into a further 190 countries.

In addition to broadcast slots on TV3 in Ireland and DD National in India, Ready, Steady, Wiggle! can now be enjoyed on the children’s app PlayKids and the global internet TV platform Netflix. This follows on success in The Wiggles’s home territory on ABC KIDS.

Paul Field, managing director for The Wiggles, said, “This is an exciting time for The Wiggles with our broadcast reach extending to another 190 countries. The Wiggles are now able to entertain and educate children everywhere. We are also very excited about the possibility of new growth frontiers around the world including touring opportunities in territories we haven’t been to in many years and renewed licensing potential.”
