TORONTO: Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana has expanded its broadcast partnership with Super RTL, bringing several kids’ shows, including Hotel Transylvania: The Series, to Germany.

In addition to Hotel Transylvania: The Series, which is set to launch on Super RTL in 2018, the deal includes the animated adventure show Ranger Rob, slated to premiere in early 2017. Stanley Dynamic, following live-action Larry and his animated twin Luke, made its debut on Super RTL in July. All three shows will also air on TOGGO Plus one hour after their initial TV broadcast and will stream on Super RTL’s VOD platform kividoo.

“We are very excited to expand our relationship with Super RTL, the market leader in Germany, with these three dynamic kids’ series,” said Antoine Erligmann, the head of Nelvana Enterprises EMEA. “Each of these shows immerses young viewers in unique, fun-filled stories and escapades that are sure to resonate with audiences across the country.”

“With the new animated series and live-action/animated sitcom, we have ramped up our kids’ programming offerings with three very unique shows,” added Super RTL’s programming director, Carsten Göttel. “The inquisitive, nature-loving Ranger Rob, the funny cartoon brother Luke placed within the (real) Stanley family and the vibrant characters from the successful feature film franchise Hotel Transylvania are perfectly poised to win over both kids and their parents alike and we are delighted to present them to our audiences across Germany.”
